John and Penny DeFino have a real passion for Ballroom Dance. They rank among the top amateur Ballroom competition couples in the US and are Six-Time USA Dance National Ballroom Championship finalists. They hold a number of National titles in American Style Smooth and Rhythm as well as International style Standard and Latin dances.
In 2017 John & Penny became National Champions in their division for International Standard and Latin dances at the USA Dance Senior IV National Championships.
In 2015 they took 1st Place in their division at the USA Dance National Championships in the American Style Smooth events.
They continue to study their craft, and are in active competitive training, with National and World Championship dance coaches. John & Penny enjoy sharing their passion for dancing and have been teaching ballroom dance for several years.
They teach at a number of locations. They have also been active in a number of performances and charitable fundraisers.
